Getting to Know Academic Standards

Do you know what your child is supposed to know in Math and Language Arts by the end of the school year?  Our goal is that by the end of the year all our students will master the California Academic Standards for Math and Language Arts. The first step towards this is that not only teachers, but also parents and students know the standards that are to be mastered to go on to the next grade. These were given to parents at the beginning of the school year. If you do not have them, please ask your teacher for a copy of your child’s grade level standards. It is important that you know them so you can monitor your child’s progress.
